My first female Northern Cardinal!

So excited to finally see the female! The make has been coming for a while.

Sorry for the blurry pics. They were just 3 feet apart.

This was yesterday. And my camera is showing thats she dropped by a few times and today as well.

Adding peanuts and worms attracted so many more different birds.

When I was putting our only seeds and sunflower, all I got was mourning doves, sparrows and finches.

Ever since adding worms and peanuts to a different platter, I'm happy to report I have new regular visitors now: northern cardinals, bluejays, tufted titmouse, downy woodpeckers, white breasted nuthatch. The mourning doves also eat some of the worms and peanuts but they usually stick to the tray feeder with seeds. And the peanuts are definitely more popular than the worms.

I asked this sub a few months ago about attracting birds other than doves. So thank you for the suggestions.

I don't generally stim, sometimes i twirl or pluck hair but not often.

Tonight when prepping dinner, I was playing some loud electrop music. I love electropop, it both calms me down and invigorates me and I breathe deeper. I naturally move my head and tap my feet to the beat. My teenage son entered the kitchen, and he said that I'm stimming.

I always thought I was just moving/dancing to the beat. Never crossed my mind I was stimming.

I am curious. Is it stimming?
