The day Michael Jordan came to Georgetown practice

He wasn't the only celebrity either.

Georgetown not on this list, but our rivals are

Not shocked, but still disgusted by the shamelessness. They have just taken a huge dump on the regular season all in the name of money.

It's hard to believe because both teams are washed now, but in the 1980s, this was the biggest rivalry in college basketball, bar none. North Carolina-Duke was a distant second. Not nearly as intense or physical. I was at the last Big East regular season game between Georgetown and Syracuse. The Hoyas won 61-39 in front of a sellout crowd. That was 13 years ago, but it seems even longer.

The final five:is Arkansas, Georgetown, Kentucky, Miami, and USC.

Beckham is going into his senior season as the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2027 class. Micah Peavy's dad David, is his coach and stepfather. His brother Anthony Black plays for the Orlando Magic. He played college at Arkansas.

Beckham is a true PG. Cooley has never been successful without a good PG. I haven't seen him play, but I've become hesitant about recruiting high school kids. He is an elite one though. I would have taken Jordan Smith Jr. if he'd chosen us over Arkansas. It seems like we're close, but can never get across the line with this caliber ot recruit.

For me, it has to be Julius Halaifonua. He's an unathletic, traditional center going to Oklahoma State, a team that usually rolls out athletic rim runners who defend well. This can only be about cash. I get that for the player, but not the acquiring team. So much money out there for bigs.

I actually dislike the bulldog with the hat logo. I love the classic G(no basketball inside it) more than anything else. What do you think?

Love the jersey and the haircut. The Washington Monument in the back is perfect. Does anyone else remember the 80s teams? I especially want to hear from people who were on campus then.

I'll start. Jeff Green. That 2007 Final Four team was my favorite and Green was their leader. The game winner against Candy. The comeback against Carolina. He might have been the last Hoya who I thought really cared about the school, not just the program. He left school after his junior year, but he came back in the summer to finish his degree. He represents the university well.

Curious what people think, especially if you haven’t commented before. I know there must be some DSR fans in here.
