LG Fridge - Water down to trickle, even after new filter change
I have had to change filters every 2-3 months for years now. Some times OEM LG, sometimes high-rated ones from Amazon. Waterflow after change would be around 21 secs for 20 oz, but within two months was >1m. Now it's literally 3 days to >1M (currently 90 secs.)
Troubleshooting:
Inserted filter bypass, water pressure seems fine, indicating no build-up or clogs in line, and no frozen lines. Emptied and disabled ice production just in case.
Ran vinegar through system, just for fun.
The SPOF seems to be the filter itself, which I suppose could be clogged by crappy water (though water tests have come back fine), but that's the only part of the system that I'm aware of that I can't easily fix (other than changing the filter.)
At this point I'm out of answers, and feel like a pro is needed, as I'm not going to replace the whole filter housing (despite finding great videos on it) for what could be a waste.
Any guesses before I suck it up and call a pro?
