Moschino Toy Boy Blind Review | A love letter to the masterpiece
The opening and first impression is indisputable: «wormwood washed with soap». Very green, floral, with pleasant cleanliness and a little spice. After some time, it evolves to stunning photorealistic rose leaves with the flower itself during its blooming phase - bright, natural, outlining, wet. The pepper is weighty, attention-grabbing, and does a great job here adding what feels like thrones to the flower, making it, in fact, masculine. Sometimes it also shines with sweet and sour notes, but mainly it stays that nose-cutting rose
Mind-blowing performance of authentic parfum with longevity starting from 8+ hours on skin and almost everlasting on clothes, with strong, yet not cloying projection and luring sillage. The bottle is playful and cute, meanwhile, having a luxury league pressurized atomizer that can compete with Dior and Chanel with ease. By the way, 1-1.5 sprays on the neck and chest is all that you need to shine and grab that passing by noses to your persona. I actually usually do half spray and have a performance comparable with most of blue fragrances
Due to the notes in composition, it’s, in fact, versatile for all year-round wear. Yet in summer, you might want to stick with half spray and during winter, press it good 2-3 times. Meanwhile the perfect weather condition is a cold rainy spring day - the feeling just cannot be described with words, you have to live with that experience
Got this on sale and paid 45 euros for 100ml. With every wear, it feels more and more like I committed a crime and should go to jail for getting such a heartbreaker that dirty cheap. It’s definitely in the top 10 of my best purchases in life, not only fragrance-related
Honestly, a huge desire to write a hateful review and tell everyone that it’s the worst chemical mess that you can find, but only for one purpos: I want to rock this masterpiece by myself...
There’s actually not a single downside, except not being for everyone. You must have your own personality and charisma to wear it, or the shiny bear will wear you. This was my love letter to Moschino's masterpiece and I want to finish it with one line: absolutely incredible fragrance with unique and challenging DNA, that truly smells like an absurdly expensive niche
