Behaviour in public
So, I'm on holiday, cruising. There are a lot of young children on the cruise (<9 months - 7 years old).
Embarking was the sign, parents who allowed their children 1-3 yrs old to run around a very busy terminal.
On board and in the lift, parents get in with a buggy and a child, male approx. 5 yrs old, very loud and screaming, these parents have adopted soft parenting, no firm guidance, we all have to Wait while dad coaxes the child into the lift, with lots of ohhhs and ahhs from some of the other passengers.
The final straw, queuing to go into dinner when I felt something hit me on the top of my head, with some force I turned to see a very tall an adult male - I will not ascribe the term man or dad, father to this individual, who did nothing, not an apology nothing.
No, I didn't say anything, I think that the shock and it begin a child. Had I said anything I assumed that the blame would be deflected, as it's a child. I think the staff saw, they seated me very quickly.
Adult only cruises for me in the future.
