Zoloft 25mg in pregnancy. Please reassure me my baby will be ok!

Hi all,

This is my first pregnancy, it took a year of IVF and statistically my chances were very low so she really is my little miracle baby

I have a history of anxiety but haven't been on anything for a while. But the last week I've been really bad. I ended up being told to go to the ER by my OB team earlier this week as the anxiety was causing some really strong cramps. Thank God baby is ok, but it really shook me up.

They've given me 25mg of Zoloft to take but I'm really worried it might hurt the baby (they've assured me it's very well documented to have low risks). It's unlikely I would ever get pregnant again even with IVF help. So I'm obviously very cautious.

I think hearing some personal experiences from people will help calm my nerves over it. My worries are she won't develop well. Or will be born and have the withdrawal symptoms I've read about. I'd just feel so guilty if she had to go through that because I can't control my anxiety.

Would love to hear your experiences!

Do you report pensions on your tax return if you're not taking any income from them? (UK pensions, living in the US)
