Hello all! About 3 weeks ago I bought my first bike ever. I decided to go with a Diverge 3 alloy mostly because it was $1.6k and that it was a "versatile" bike for both road and gravel. I've ridden close to 100 miles on the bike and I feel I made a mistake. Most of my rides have been in the road and the bike feels very heavy and it's difficult to keep up with others. I've been searching what upgrades could make my life easier and found out that a tubeless Roval Terra C wheel set up could make my bike way better. When searching the Terra Cs, the price is around $1.8k which is more than the total price of my bike. The question is, is the wheel upgrade really worth it or should I skip and buy a road bike later on? I've been looking on some used Tarmacs SL6 with a Di2 on a local bike shop for $2.5k and I think it's more reasonable to get a full road bike for a little more that the Terra Cs price considering I can haggle the price of the SL6 in the bike shop. I do not what to keep doing mistakes in this very expensive hobby, please help! 😂
