So I just began my journey on the data center side of the industry as a data center technician for a OEM company that provides the equipment. I service and maintain the equipment in small and hyperscale data centers (amazons, googles, bath and body works etc) I have prior to this 3 years residential hvac experience. How long do you think I should grind here before making the transition to a hyperscale data center? I currently start pretty low in my opinion 65k/year and qualify for OT so average around 75-80k with OT. My goal is to obviously be well in the 100k area or around that with great benefits. What’s your guys advice on this? And how many years do I need to stay here to be considered a higher level tech at Google or meta

I’m looking to try to turn this space into a hangout area where I can watch football (49ers fan) and ufc. Do you guys have any ideas? I circled where the door is and where the outlet is. I do rent, and all this other junk will be out of here shortly. Thank you in advance!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is any other cooling engineers (cooling technicians) on here that work for vertiv that have been there a little while and can elaborate a little bit on how the pay increases over time as you move up from level 1 to 2 and so on. I’m in Ohio and was just curious and aka want to hear about your experience so far! I’ve liked it so far sense being here but have no insight on the pay increases as you move up lol
