What is something in a sitcom that makes no sense at all even considering Sitcom logic

not like the house thing where people shouldn't be able to afford a house and stuff

I'll Start with the fact that in sitcoms someone doing the voice of adult version of a child character makes sense

But on How i Met Your Mother it makes 0 sense that Ted who is an adult to 2013 then in 2030 now sounds like Bob Saget doing the voiceover

So many shows and maybe a few that could have been better with less restraints

I see everyone saying Girl Meets World but there was a show Sydney to the Max that could have possibly benifited from less restraints to have been able to dive deeper into certain topics and i like the idea of paralleling the Daughter and Dad's lives at the same age

So maybe it's a nod to the show itself or another show or something

I just noticed today in Friends in Episode 10 of Season 1 at a New Years Party Shiny Happy People by REM is playing in the background and it was the original Placeholder for the Friends opening Theme
