Petite plus size suggestions? I'm desperate
I’ve tried so many carriers in the past couple weeks. My plus-size, petite, hourglass body has made it difficult. 3+mo baby is<10% height & slightly above avg weight. It doesn’t help that both baby and I run hot.
I've tried so many carriers. Most of them had too wide of a waistband, some didn’t sit well on my narrow shoulders, & some are too wide of a panel for a short-legged baby atm. All of them have felt hot. When I overheat, baby on me does too. (Ring sling didn't come naturally to me - might try again later. Have tried: Wildbird Aerial, Tula Explore & Lite, Lillebaby Airflow, Happy OG & Haven, Beco 8 & Gemini Cool, & Momcozy.) Ergo didn't look cool to me, & think the H&P Lark would be too wide for her atm.
The Mabe Monarch feels the coolest, but I know it's not ideal, encouraged, or built to last super long. I’m planning on getting maybe a HB or LennyLamb Onbuhimo when baby gets bigger, so don’t plan on using this Mabe for back carry.
I might use the Mabe idk - I'm also thinking of trying out LennyLamb, Oscha, & Integra – what brands do you think might accommodate best for the above issues?
