Does Pucci need to accelerate time with him in order for it to speed up or can he separate his acceleration from the world’s acceleration
I noticed that he became faster in his fight against Emporio but I do not think he would speed up the world he created just to defeat him so can he really separate his own acceleration from time’s acceleration?
Pucci is a great villain
This is my personal opinion on Pucci and why Pucci specifically? Because I hate morally gray villains I seriously can’t stand them
Did I say hate?
Because I see so many villains who are supposed to be morally gray where their goal is good but their methods are evil and honestly I think many writers struggle badly with this type of character the impact ends up weaker than a villain who is simply evil for the sake of evil and even pure evil villains can still be amazing and entertaining even if they are simpler from a writing standpoint
Of course this is just my personal opinion
But Pucci is one of the few morally driven villains that I loved in almost every aspect
Starting with his goal his goal is not exactly “this is for humanity’s good” but more like a deeply human dream and that makes him easier to understand even though actually achieving it would fundamentally change reality as a human being deep down you might still wish for something like that it’s similar to Sinbad’s dream of creating a world without war as a person deep inside you want a world without war or fear of the future too unless you’re Starscream which makes his goal feel relatable to me
Second and most importantly he appeared very early on yes it removed some of the mystery even though the beginning of Part 6 had amazing mystery elements
But the reason I love Pucci is the same reason I love Blackbeard Kira Yoshikage Garou and Sinbad which is the villain’s journey these characters are all different in personality and ideals but they share one thing which is early introduction where you actually see their own adventures separate from the protagonist’s story instead of them just standing around aura farming in the shadows waiting to appear at the end and crush people even if the writing is good that style gets boring
The moment where Pucci was trapped in prison terrified of the poisonous frogs was amazing it made me feel closer to him as a villain it’s similar to those scenes where Kira sneaks into a school just to get a sandwich bag regardless of whether people think these moments reduce the villain’s aura or not they add value and depth and make them feel like actual characters instead of just “the villain role” villain side adventures are always interesting to me
And despite appearing so much there were still always new things to learn about him every time he showed up instead of meaningless appearances
I also love the fact that he works alone and nobody knows his identity while we as viewers still get to experience his journey alongside him
Third
I like that for most of Part 6 Pucci did not have an overwhelmingly broken ability White Snake the stand that carried most of the story is more practical than overpowered which gave Pucci opportunities to show his intelligence in how he used it and even then Pucci himself still felt dangerous not just the stand
I also loved White Snake’s angry aggressive nature even though I prefer C Moon and Made in Heaven overall seeing White Snake act like a wild violent being compared to Pucci’s calm personality was really cool
Fourth
The lack of forced sympathy I hate when villains rely entirely on sympathy like “villains are not born they are made 🥺” I seriously can’t stand that
But Pucci works much better for me because his past is not overly tragic honestly many of the tragic events in his life happened because of his own recklessness and impulsive decisions but the point is that even though he understood his mistakes he never expected the consequences to become that catastrophic and that is what pushed him toward the goal we all know
Fifth
He is still a villain despite the nobility of his goal he is still willing to wipe out an entire bloodline because of his hatred and what makes it more compelling is that it is connected to his devotion toward his friend
One more thing I love is his determination which is something present in almost every JoJo villain
I’m just sharing my personal opinion on why I love this villain maybe I’ll talk about Jolyne
The kind you see in YouTube AMVs with crazy lights and explosions
Like Homura vs Mami or the fights in the Fate Heaven’s Feel movies or the fight in the No Game No Life movie
I feel really nostalgic for those kinds of moments
I just finished rewatching the No Game No Life movie for the third time and that fight scene still feels amazing and epic
So I want more of that of course I’ve already seen many others but these are just the fights I remembered off the top of my headIt’s not just anime I mean movies too
All of them without hax and only close combat Who do you think King Crimson could beat and who do you think he couldn’t beat?
My friend argued with me that King Crimson only seems so strong in close combat because he moves during erased time but in a pure close range fight without hax he’s not actually that powerful and I wanted to know your opinions on that
He’s starting to convince me
Just like the title says, I don’t want something like “I enchanted my sword and now I can cut mountains at super speed in close combat.”
I want it to feel more like Magi or the way fights are done in Frieren where there’s clear distance between the opponents complex techniques being explained and things like that
I hope I got the idea across.
I watched a Marvel cartoon where there was a really great story about Hulk and Bruce Banner in it Hulk actually had a personality but still couldn’t fully control himself and Bruce made a deal that he would give Hulk full control if he saved the city it was a really emotional story and seeing a childhood hero get real character development was amazing I didn’t really like the movie versions
I feel like the comics might handle Hulk’s story much better
But what I actually want are recommendations I really want a story focused on Hulk and Bruce I don’t want something with the Avengers or big cosmic threats I want a well written story that focuses between the scientist and the monster
If there is a good Hulk story that includes the Avengers that’s fine but I’d really prefer something that focuses mainly on Hulk
Just to clarify I prefer stories that are easy to jump into without needing to watch or read anything beforehand
Hello I’m not new to anime but noticed something I miss a lot of news and many of the anime I discover are either already hugely popular or surrounded by some weird controversy
It’s hard for me to find anime that genuinely interests me because I have to search constantly and that takes time so I wanted to ask what are your sources for anime news
So I can discover and explore anime without having to rely on whatever is currently popular
Things like a certain manga getting an anime adaptation an anime reaching its 10th anniversary or recommendations for underrated anime from lesser known studios
And if you also have sources for manga news please let me know because manga is honestly what I’ve fallen the most out of touch with
