My 2023 Q7 has the Pirelli Scorpion Verde run flat tires on it (OE). The tires are ready for replacement. I am thinking of putting Michelin Cross Climate 2’s on it. The CC2 is a standard non-run flat tire. I am aware the spare tire and the Q7 has been replaced by a 12 V air pump and a repair kit. Has anyone swapped out run flats for standard tires? And, if so, was it a good move or do you regret it?

I just wanted to see if anybody had encountered this and if so, were you able to resolve it with Sam’s Club? I ordered a replacement tires from the tire and battery shop for my 2023 Audi Q7. When I got to my appointment to have the tires put on, the manager told me my Audi has run flat tires on it and I had ordered tires that were not run flats. I actually did that on purpose; I did not particularly want run flats. They refused to install the Michelin Cross Climate 2 all weather SUV tires because my car does not have a spare. There doesn’t seem to be anything on the tire fitment tag that says they have to be run flats only there is no spare. I would like to use Sam’s Club because we travel a good bit and I use their tire shop for the road hazard warranty, as well as, rotate and balance.
