Hi, I wanted to ask what’s the schedule for SAIT pre-employment electrician program, I was wondering if I can manage my full time day job during these 3 months?

If someone have to choose b/w this, which would be a better option:

1: Solar Installer: Although it will be an electrician apprenticeship, but seems more like a roofing job than electrician job. But I kinda have the offer solid in hand.

2: Residential Electrician:

There are talks in progress and they kinda made a loose promise that they will consider me for an apprenticeship opportunity in couple of months, so can’t say anything for sure now.

Just confused how to navigate this dilemma?

Later if I want to pursue automation side of electrical work, which one would suite my profile better?

And once I start my apprenticeship, can I still hunt for other roles that better align my goals during the first year of apprenticeship?
