I know just about nothing about clocks, but I love this one. From basic searches I found E. Ingraham clocks most similar in construction and motifs. I’m particularly excited because it still chimes when I advance the minute hand.

If anyone knows I’m curious about:

1. Could it be an E. Ingraham?
2. Is it likely missing a more ornate base?
3. Would I be nuts to try to strip the dark paint/stain?
