Question about Dual Rectifiers

Hello everyone I hope you are well, first to start I am a total newbie to amps, I only have my first combo amp from my Glarry starter kit and wanted to ask for some help on what I should be looking for, now I feel like if I want to get a nicer amp I want to get a real nice amp, and as a diehard nu metal fan I think the choice is obvious, Dual Rectifier. Only problem is I don’t know which one I should be looking for, I’ve seen the term rev g and vintage f, also heard that they changed how they were made throughout the years so later versions don’t sound the same as the original one, also there is a new reissue out now. I’m looking for one like the early 2000s late 90s nu metal bands used like Mudvayne, Linkin Park, etc. Just wanted to ask for help on which specific version of the dual rectifier amp should I be looking for, thank you in advance

Hello everyone hope you are doing well, doing a trial of Darkglass and my computer has the minimum specs so when running it through my daw I’m having latency issues so I was thinking just turn it of when I’m not using it, I guess it works as an after effect so the bass is recorded dry and the effect is added on afterwards so I can’t do that unless I want to listen to the dry bass tone only, is there a way I can record the bass with the plugin so I can turn off darkglass while still having my bass tone in the recording, sorry if this dosent make a lot of sense a lot on my mind and had a few long work days (weeks really) feel free to ask any questions that could help you help me

Also want to say thank you to everyone for their help in the past few days, been having a rough time and it’s not an excuse but I let my emotions get the better of me and not exactly thinking straight and getting frustrated with every roadblock but thank you for being patient with me and providing help, I truly am grateful and love how friendly this community is since that can be 50/50 here on Reddit

Hello everyone I hope you are well, relatively new fan here (was a casual fan for a while then heard a few more songs and decided to deep dive their discography), been going back and forth between studio and live and demo recordings and something I noticed and looked up to confirm is while LD50 was recorded in drop b they played in drop c live, also the demos go back and forth between C and B, I know after LD50 they switched to Drop C for recordings, was there a reason for the switch for future studio recordings, and what was up with them playing in C live instead of B like it was recorded (when looking this up I also found a post saying the shows they played last summer they did the entire set in Drop B, including everything post LD50, which makes more sense to me since I’ve heard of bands tuning lower as they age just cause it’s easier on their voice that’s why them tuning up a half step live seems weird to me since it would be harsher on Chads voice theoretically) I play guitar and started playing bass so that’s why I tend to hyper-fixate on tunings, string gauges, gear, etc. and there wasn’t a lot of information out there (Hell look up what tuning Ryan’s bass was in, you get answers like Drop B with and extra low F# on top, Drop B BF#BEG#, B Standard, Drop CGCFA, etc) so was just curious if anyone had anymore information

Hello everyone hope you are well, before when recording demos I was using a shitty usb mic but that died so I said screw it upgraded to a scarlet solo and was gonna try neural dsp but honestly not enjoying them but I’ll keep trying but I also said screw it againg and bought a shure sm57 an decided to try and mic my amp, I apologize for the sloppy playing but I did 3 tones double tracked then I mixed and matched them for a quad track sound (order is tone A,B,C,AB,AC,BC) Just want to hear any thoughts on them, I also know it’ll sound different in the context off a mix once bass drums vocals and all that gets added+eqing but just wanted to hear everyone’s opinion. Trying to find that middle ground from borderline unusable sound some bands had while still having that clear audible sound where the notes don’t mud together

Hello everyone I hope you are well, I’m trying to install a guitar amp simulator and every time I run the installer I get this error, anyone have any solutions. The website I’m getting it from only has the one download link, I saw someone say maybe the installer isn’t properly “unpacking” the file, reached out to support and they don’t have a solution so thought I would also ask here

Hello everyone I hope you are doing well, trying to give one of the neural dsp amp sims a try, downloaded the install file, and loaded up the installer and it gives me this error, it looks like it’s looking for another installer, specifically one of the cabs but I’m not sure, I only see one download file on the trial link, anyone encountered this and figure it out, thank you all in advance

Edit:Also I did send an email to NeuralDSP but I don’t know what they’re response time is like so I thought I would post this here
