The Lelit Dilemma: Anna vs Victoria

Both the machines have a 3 way solenoid valve and PID.

Lelit Anna:

Pros:

  1. Same features as the Victoria.

  2. Smaller boiler so heats up faster

Cons:

  1. 57mm Portafilter vs the standard 58mm on Victoria

  2. No shot timer or pre-infusion (victoria has both)

Now the big question, is the Victoria worth 33k more than the Anna? From a long term perspective, is it a better choice to go with Lelit Victoria? If not Lelit, can you recommend me another brand that will last for a long time?

I already have a DF54 grinder.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to your reply!

What Espresso Machine do you use and do you like it?

I wanted to buy an espresso machine. So I started researching and found the important stuff needed for a great espresso is a solenoid valve, pid control, dual boiler, powerful steam wand and most importantly after sales service.

I was going to buy a HiBrew H10a (30k) but stalled the decision because I have seen some comments on this subreddit saying it’s better to save up for Gaggia Classic or Lelit Anna (70k+) instead. I also have seen a lot of posts on Dedica EC890, apart from the weak steam wand, it seems pretty solid for 15k.

I already have a grinder, DF54 V3.

TLDR;
Buy a Hibrew H10a for 30k OR save 15k and get the EC890.

OR

Save up for Gaggia / Lelit

Hello everyone!

My starbucks (I know, it was my first time) beans are about to finish in a week. For the past few weeks I’ve been seeing a lot of recommendations about Blue Tokai, but after seeing so many options I’m confused.

I have a grinder. I will be using a Moka Pot, and SIFC.
I don’t understand much about flavour but I like chocolatey coffee and I hate fruity coffee (got some beans from Glitch coffee in Japan).

Any personal favourites of yours?
Thanks!

I have been using my good old Bose QC20’s for the last 7-8 years and yesterday the cable finally broke 💔.

My use case is playing fps games and listening to music.

I guess this is the right time to buy an iem.

Can anyone recommend me one under 5k, i can stretch my budget to 6k if it’s worth it.
