As of today (May 1, 2026), oil marketing companies have revised commercial LPG prices. Here are the updated rates relevant to Delhi:
Updated Prices:
19 kg Commercial cylinder — ₹3,071.50 (up ₹993 from last month)
14.2 kg Domestic cylinder — ₹913 (unchanged)
Why the hike? The West Asia conflict has disrupted global energy supply chains, causing international LPG prices to spike sharply. This is the fourth commercial LPG price revision since March 2026. The government has prioritized domestic household supply, so home users are protected for now.
How does this affect Delhi? Dhabas, restaurants, and small eateries that rely on commercial cylinders will face significantly higher operating costs. Expect food prices at local eateries to gradually increase as a result.
