Help me save my philodendron

Hello, new on this group. I'm looking for advises on what would be the safest way to salvage my philodendron.

as you can see on the pictures the leaves are all yellowing, the stem is too long and croocked, and even if I can see a small new leaf, I think she isn't well.

I dont treat this plant any differently than my others philodendrons and water them once a week in winter up to two times a week in the summer. It is just under a window south exposed and hadn't any issues since last week.

I'm debating between cuting the older leaves and let it be, or trying to cut the stem to propagate it and save what I can.

If you are on the team of cutting it, where would you do it on the stem?

Also as a bonus if you can help me identify it as I dont know the variety.

Thanks to all the people who are willing to help ! 😁
