For context the car is a 2008 VW Golf 1.9 litre
I passed my test this year (21/22 female When we renew)
My partner who will be the policy holder is 23 and had had is license for about 4 years now and has only had one accident to which he was at fault this year

He’s joining the police force in July too so it has put the mileage up compare to our old car we had (Ford KA Mk2) when I was just learning and it and we used the car for shopping and the gym
I’ll be in my final year of university and I do work we both live with his family

Quotes from admiral who we are with now was about £1700 and that’s without a black box :)

Just wanted to hear thoughts maybe if I should shop around or something?
