I took these photographs a few years ago at a park called Pampas Safari. It was located at the southern part of Brazil, in the city of Gravatai.

The place has a tragic history; its activities were permanently shut down in 2016.

One of the technicians allowed me into the aviary, and I was able to get very close to the macaws and the other birds, and I consider these to be my favorite photos to this day.

I don't know if was effect of the captivity or if it was their nature, but they were very docile and climbed on some people.

Hey, it's undeniable and it's not my fault. But there are some similarities.
