Was I sucka for doing this for a random girl ?

I was at top golf last night. I was in between the bays. I heard a woman take a call and told her date she had to leave for an emergency and that her mom had been in an accident. He started to laugh.

Im gonna try and remember the exact words He said

“It’s not that deep for you to come up with a fake excuse of that manner to leave. Why are you lying on your mom and putting on a show. My grand (he said ma or pa) just died so I wouldn’t be lying to that degree.” Just come up with a different bs story, lying on your mom is weird.

She said

“Uhh”

He said something along the lines of

“I wasn’t going to text you after the date anyway. Just enjoy the free food and golf we have less than an hour.”

She ended up leaving. So I chased her down and tried to comfort her I asked her was she okay. She looked embarrassed I asked her did he do anything creepy. She said no she just didn’t feel the spark and she was bored.

I did end up talking to the dude after I went back inside

UConn national championship game attribute boost was on display but the talent gap was too wide to overcome

There’s this running joke that no matter the era UConn seems to elevate in the national championship game.

And to be honest I saw that elevation of play earlier this month. That’s why I’m even more convinced that UConn could’ve been a step or two below Michigan In talent and would’ve won.

But Michigan was loaded. That’s basically a G league team.

TL;DR

A UConn team closer in talent WINs.
