I had a barely used Kobo Clara and the screen broke. I had the official case and just had it in a backpack, but apparently that’s enough to break them. Love and learn I guess, the last ereader I had was a nook and it was bullet proof in comparison.

Customer service only offered me a $20 coupon since it’s a few months out of warranty.

I don’t want to get another one if it’s going to break again.

Is there a better case option 3rd party? I’ve seen the shock resistant plastic outer covered but the screen flap I feel needs to be harder or something.
