Looking for a social media / growth co-founder who understands video editing to help launch a desktop media encoder for creators.

Hey! I’m a product builder and editor. I got fed up with how badly social media apps ruin the quality of high-end video edits, so I decided to build a solution.
I vibe coded an Electron-based desktop app that includes a media encoder, compressor, and asset downloader specifically tuned to bypass aggressive social media compression. I've already done the heavy lifting—the full UI is built, the code is running, and I have my own VPS hosting the landing page and app installers.

What I need:
The tech is basically there, but I need a partner to help me bring it to market. I’m looking for a co-founder who understands social media posting inside and out, has basic video editing knowledge, and knows how to get a product in front of creators.
You’ll help me manage beta testers, figure out the best export presets for platforms like TikTok/Shorts, and lead the growth strategy.

Current Stage: Private MVP is built and deployable. Currently gathering beta testers.
If you want to partner up on a creator utility tool that already has a functional product and distribution pipeline ready to go, let’s chat! I'm totally down to jump on a quick call and screen-share a demo of how it works.

I got sick of dodgy download sites and Adobe Media Encoder, so I built my own desktop app. Looking for people to get involved!

Hey guys,

For the last few months, I’ve been working on a side project. It’s a Windows desktop app built for video editors, clippers, and creators.

Honestly, I only built this because my own workflow was driving me crazy. I was so tired of using sketchy, ad-filled websites just to grab source clips, waiting forever on Adobe Media Encoder, and juggling Handbrake just to compress a file. I just wanted one clean app on my PC that handled all of it.

What it actually does: It’s basically an all-in-one hub with four main features:

  • The Downloader: Replaces those dodgy websites. You just paste a link, pick your quality (4K, 1080p, 60fps) and format (MP4, MKV, etc.), and it rips it with zero quality loss. No pop-ups, no fake buttons.
  • Media Encoder: A lightweight alternative to AME. It remuxes and encodes heavy video files super fast so they’re ready for your timeline.
  • Video Compressor: Basically a Handbrake replacement built right in to shrink massive files without ruining the quality.
  • "Anti-Compression" for TikTok/Reels: This is the feature I'm most proud of. We all know TikTok and Insta absolutely destroy the quality of desktop uploads, turning crisp 60fps edits to mush. I built a proprietary processing module that forces their algorithms to bypass the heavy compression entirely. You get pristine, true 60fps uploads straight from your desktop browser. It actually works.

I'm looking to team up! The app is fully functional right now. It’s got a super clean dark-mode UI, licensing tiers are set up, and the core engine runs perfectly.

I really want to take this to the next level, but I can't do it all alone. Whether you’re a marketer who knows how to reach the editing/creator community, someone who wants to co-found and help steer the ship, or you just think it's cool and want to beta test it, I’d love to chat.

If you’re interested in getting involved in any way, drop a comment or shoot me a DM. Happy to share some screenshots, talk about the vision, and see if we can work together!

I vibe coded a standalone Media Encoder

Hey everyone

I’ve spent way too many hours making clean edits in After Effects, only to watch TikTok completely obliterate the quality and frame rate the second I upload.

I wanted a standalone app to fix my own pipeline, so **I fully vibe coded one using AI.**
Because I let AI handle the heavy lifting, the desktop app is actually pretty stacked already. It has a **clean UI, a video/audio downloader, a compressor, and a custom encoding engine** meant to trick social media servers into not compressing files so aggressively.

The program works great for my basic edits, but here’s the catch: since I vibe coded it, **I am absolutely not an expert when it comes to the deep technical side of video rendering and FFmpeg arguments.** The AI got the app running, but when it comes to the perfect math behind bitrates, keyframes, constant vs variable frame rates, and color space mapping, I'm definitely out of my depth.

I really want to finish this tool and make it something the community can actually use to beat the TikTok compression algorithm, but I need help from people who actually understand video engineering.

I’m looking for :

**Beta Testers:** People willing to throw their heavy AE renders into it, see if the quality holds up, and try to break it.

**Advisors/Experts:** Anyone who knows encoding inside and out who can look at the backend setup.

It's completely free, no strings attached. Just a cool passion project I want to perfect with the community. If you're down to test it or look under the hood and give me some advice, drop a comment or shoot me a DM!

Thank you for your time🙂

Looking for Vibe coding friends/partners

Hey everyone

I’ve been messing around with vibe coding for about 6 months now. I’ve actually built and published 2 apps so far—they're both live on the web, though I just keep them private/for personal use right now.

My current setup is Gemini on Antigravity. I’m really liking the whole workflow, but building entirely by myself is getting a little boring and I’m finding it hard to stay motivated.

Just wanted to see if anyone wants to link up, share screens on Discord, bounce ideas around, and maybe co build some fun stuff. You definitely don’t need to be a pro dev or anything, just looking for someone else who likes playing around with AI tools and wants to see what we can make together.

I’m currently based in UK
