If the Bible is the only infallible source and the only sufficient source of Christian theology, then it has never been wrong or incomplete.
The Latin Vulgate was written in the 4th century AD and contains the Apocrypha. Protestant Bibles today overwhelmingly do not contain the Apocrypha, with the exception of some Lutheran Bibles and maybe one or two others. If the Apocrypha isn't part of infallible Scripture, then was the Bible wrong up until the Reformation? And if it is part of infallible Scripture, does that mean Protestant Bibles today are incomplete Scripture?
I'm being transparent about my faith so people don't think I'm trying to pull a fast one on y'all. I am genuinely not trying to play gotcha or start a fight, just curious.
If Protestants rely on the Holy Spirit to interpret the Bible, and different Protestants have different interpretations while each still believes they are guided by the Holy Spirit, how do you know which interpretation is correct?
I lost the bolt that attached my Zastava buffer tube adapter to the receiver when I moved. I looked online and the general consensus seems to be that the bolt is M8x1.25 (also seen M8x1.0). Which is the correct size, and what length do I need? The owner's manual is less than helpful. It's for an M90.
We all know our basic experience was the last hard cycle. However, clearly we didn't all join the Army at the same time. Let's denote my basic training cycle (summer 2019) with the variable x, soldier #1 (winter 2021) with y, and soldier #2 (summer 2025) with z.
We each had the last hard cycle, therefore x = y = z. However, we didn't go at the same time. So, the only way for x = y = z to be true is for summer 2019 = winter 2021 = summer 2025. Therefore, time is non-linear. I'll credit the Army when I get my Nobel Prize in physics.
Gimme one of everything on the Taco Bell menu, got the munchies right now.
