Possible camera repair??

I hae a canon powershot A810. I have owned this since it first came out. (I was about 8 years old)

I have found my old camera in storage but the battery/ card cover is not doing great. Ill insert a picture. Everything else works perfectly fine.
Im just worried that it will wear down quickly because of this. Any advice?

I am in southwest Ohio. Close to Dayton Ohio.

Just bought a house and they had just planted grass seeds. I didnt move in until a week after we bought the house and this is what its looking like. I have sprinklers but i have no idea how often to use. Some spots look great and other areas look horrible. Will i have to get more seeds?

Im a 21yo F and my brother is 23yo. We moved into a new home and i was very active in the buying process. I went to every meeting with my parents, and I was also there for the closing and final walkthrough. Since the beginning, I decided which room i wanted in the house. My brother was there the first day and when he was asked which room he wanted, he didn’t answer.

On moving day, i started putting my belongings in my new room. My brother decided to start taking my stuff out and putting them into a different room. My parents talked to him and so did I. He ended up taking the other room. (Not exactly willingly but nevertheless)

A month goes by and suddenly, i walk into my room and notice all of my things are gone, and his stuff are now there. I calmly ask him to move my stuff back into my room. And he says he will. When i come back a few min later, he has moved all of my clothes out of my closet and into the other room.

My brother is refusing to leave my room saying its not fair that I chose first. He literally slept on the floor of my room and would not speak or move.

I moved most of my stuff out of the room but i cant take apart my bed because he hid the tools. This is his way of making sure i can’t move back into the room.

AITA for not wanting to switch rooms? Ofc there is more to the story but this is the part that is really bothering me.

EDIT***

My parents have tried politely asking, and escalated to demanding to undo what he has done. They let him know that he is in the wrong and has no right to do this. But my parents both work full time, and i go to school full time and i am also working. We do not have time to sit at home and baby this 23 year old grown man.

I also want to clarify that i had pulled up the floor plan and let every one know which room i wanted BEFORE MOVE IN DAY.

Not to mention my brother was the first one to see the house but did not say anything until we moved in.

Context, i live in southwest ohio and itd been pretty cold this past week. I planted some sunflower seeds and i was shocked to see them actually grow (planted about 10 days ago) . should i bring it inside? The weather is going to be in the 50s for the next few days.

I also have some basil but i left it inside for now. Will they survive??

I am a 21 year old female in college living on campus. it was just confirmed that for the upcoming semester, I will not have to switch rooms because my room is still available, at least for the summer. I got a message from another girl asking me if she could have my room, because she is good friends with the other girls who live there.

The problem with this is I have already gotten used to living there and I just do my own thing. I also do not want to pack all my stuff up and move to a new room.

I believe that the only reason why she is asking is because my roommates told her I dont stay in my room at all, which is true (im usually with my BF). However, my boyfriend is graduating which means i will not be staying with him anymore. Starting this summer, i will be staying in my dorm room.

Either way, i don’t believe that my roommates should be discussing this with their friend because it is not their business, and either way it is my room as I am the one paying for it.

I ended up leaving the girl on read because i am definitely not about to give up my room and i cant believe the audacity she has to ask me for it.

Aita??
