This is my first time posting to your amazing new community ❤️ My heart is squishy today ❤️‍🩹 so for themed day “wellness Wednesday” I thought I’d share some joy with one of my favourite movie quotes.

I’m genuinely curious—what are the things that actually bring you joy these days?

For me, I’ve leaned fully into the quiet of the early mornings vibe. I love my mornings with coffee and the same Spotify playlist of 70s and 80s classic/soft rock that I’ve had on repeat forever. Throw in a long 10K walk (while listening to those tracks), and I’m golden.

What’s doing it for you? Is it yelling at clouds? Gardening? Cooking? Gaming? Or are you "death scrolling" with the best of them?

(I’m also tempted to ask - is it "driving slow in the fast lane?" but I’m totally kidding... mostly. lol )

Whether it’s a specific hobby or just a daily ritual, what’s currently bringing you joy?

Recently, a long-time friend of 30 years and I were chatting about our crazy youthful days. Yes, we’ve officially reached the "reminiscing about when we had energy" stage of life. We used to hit the "club" at 11 PM and make it to work with no problem the next morning—hangovers weren't even a thing back then. Now, the mere thought of a bedtime past 10 pm gives me pure panic. My current "wild night" involves hitting my water intake goal, taking my multivitamins on time (with food) and getting a good night's sleep.

I had some friends coming over recently and realized we’ve grown completely bored of our usual rotation (Cards Against Humanity). I really wanted to switch it up with Yahtzee, but I didn’t actually own the game.

My plan was to hit up a thrift store and hope to find the game, or at least find some loose dice so I could print the scorecards at home.

Fast forward to my morning health walk. I’m strolling through the park around 6:00 AM, thinking about where to find this game, when I pass a bench... and I kid you not, I did a full-blown double-take. Sitting right there was a brand-new copy of Yahtzee.

I looked around, but the park was a ghost town obviously. I decided to take it, and we ended up having a blast playing it that night.

A few days later I wrote a note on the box explaining the situation and returned it to the exact same bench. I left it there for the next person to find, hoping it brings them as much unexpected fun as it brought us.
