Scoliosis progression in ~6 months (Risser 3 → 4)… is this a bad increase?

Hey, I’m 16M and was diagnosed with scoliosis about a year and a half ago. I just had a follow-up X-ray a few days ago about 6 months after my last one, and I measured the curves myself as carefully as I could. From what I got, the thoracic curve went from 22° to 26° and the lumbar curve went from 45° to 47°. Everything else either decreased a few degrees or stayed the same. So about a +2° to +4° increase depending on the curve. I also found out I’ve gone from Risser 3 to Risser 4 during the 6-month time period. I’m still having the same lung/chest pain and back pain as I did 6 months ago, which is part of why I’m concerned.

Is this considered normal progression over 6 months, especially at Risser 4? Or is this something I should be more worried about? Thank you all for any info! 👍
