When are companies going to realize that it would actually benefit giving PR kits, testers, etc to ACTUAL potential consumers not just "influencers"?

Working in social media, I'm on it a lot and I see more of a consensus of being annoyed with constantly being sold to by influencers more than anything. It seems there is a growing appeal for more "realness" again (which I personally prefer too so I'm glad to see it). Brands would be so much smarter to give that a try and I think it's actually wasting more money doing the now-usual "influencer" route. What have your findings been or does anyone have any insights on this topic?

What can we do to make sure something is actually done? Just waiting for law to correct is literally costing lives.

The most recent example of soooo many is the newest ebola outbreak. It is maddening seeing people discussing how getting rid of USAID and other guardrails not only allowed this to happen but is risking future catastrophes that could be Covid level like THAT ISN'T HOW THE PANDEMIC KILLED SO MANY IN THE FIRST PLACE (if there's somehow any doubters on here, try me I lost people to it as many others have too). How do so many people conveniently forget he was the one in charge then?!?! And then knowing that and to just let the obvious election interference go unchecked just because "oh we can't dare accuse that"?! That's just the federal level, not even going into what could have been years of cheating at statewide that has lead us to this point and is becoming very obvious in their desperation i.e. all the ways they are trying to bend laws. They're no longer even doing it quietly. And so many people WORLDWIDE have lost their lives with this at the core. We can't just let it go on like this no matter what type of election is happening. Anyone have concrete ideas on how we can actually put a stop to it all or at the very least get the higher up Dems to do something to actually fight it?

One idea I've had is what was done in the documentary Slay the Dragon (must-watch and I'm pretty sure is free on a streamer) but I'm guessing for some reason what they did in that state isn't possible in the current gerrymandering battles for some reason? Anyone understand why? And unfortunately, even that is just a chip off the glacier. Which then just reminded me of the eventual long-term impact the people just sitting back or "waiting" are allowing and will lead to the deaths of so much more...

Sidenote: Seriously, if there isn't already there needs to be a list comparing how much blood each president/admin has on their hand -- there is no way the felon's won't be at the top which says A LOT when considering all of history and lol at once thinking no one could top Bush [and yes, I include Obama's flaws in the Middle East too but most of those same military generals are still there which is probably a huge chunk of the problem] now he gets to just quietly paint on into the sunset letting this maniac top his.

Just curious if anyone has experienced this situation before and what their perspective was. It’s sadly a very common situation but I‘m not sure how to find examples of it online so I thought I would ask here. I hope that’s alright.

In my loved one’s case, I wonder if she didn’t “fight harder” to stay on Earth not wanting that potential continuation as well as knowing how hard the road ahead was. She was really bad with liver failure but she would have had a transplant surgery if they had not discovered an infection just 7 hours before. 💔 It was devastating how close to help she got, but of course was still uncertain in so many different ways so that’s what makes us wonder if she had some choice in that from beyond. Admittedly could be wishful thinking too. There is some light addiction in my family, or at least normalization of alcohol (unfortunately a big thing in the world as a whole though), so that’s what got me wondering.
