so I reapplied for a different course, and I only studied accountancy fully, and ive given interview in kjc before and it was all basic stuff like what is creditor, explain promissory note etc. so I was expecting again basic stuff since idk they usually let everyone in, but bro im so cooked 😭😭🙏🏾🙏🏾 so I join and this lady asks abt extracurriculars and asks like 3 times if I have any other preferences, im like no maam no no and she keeps asking 😭😭 then she asked some economic question, which I forgot, then she asks business studies question, and bro she literally just asked me if I know any definitions in economics, im like yeah, then she's like tell me, then I go blank bcoz first of all this is an accountancy course and 2nd of all, the last time I studied eco was in Feb for boards so obviously I don't remember omg, then I just told her basic stuff about demand and all, then she asks me what type of data is there in statistics, im like ??? wtf, ok my fault for not reading basics of all subjects, and this lady wasn't even asking direct question, she wants me only to make question and give answers 😭😭 so much accountancy I studied, and literally no use.

anyways, this experience was lowkey funny but not that bad since i answer some- but literally not proper answers coz i was caught off gaurd man idk if I have a chance but I literally got 96% in 12th, I hope atleast my marks cam save me lmaoooo

i got into kristu jayanti college for bcom acca and sjcc for regular bcom (shift 2 which is 11am to 4pm)

pros for kristu:

- dad passed away this year so im not in the mental state to live far from home in a pg, so sjcc is rlly far for me whereas kristu is closer.

-I got shift 2 in sjcc, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage since half my day goes in travelling, also I feel like it will be hard to manage internships compared to shift 1 ppl.

-and I got regular bcom in sjcc which is useless since my goal was to do acca/cfa, which gets harder since I have to do it privately now.

pros for sjcc:

-since I live closer to kristu, ive seen the crowd and the area, both are equally bad idk and I need to be in a good environment

-heard placements and fests in kristu are completely absent, where as sjcc has good placements?? idk abt regular bcom tho-

-overall sjcc has a better reputation than kristu jayanti, but my situation is tricky if u understand

so yeah, please help me out, in the end I just need what's best for my career and personal growth.

often we've heard regular bcom/bba is useless unless done with specialization in acc/finance/data Sci etc in top cllgs, now if I'm doing regular bcom at st.josephs college of commerce blr ( sjcc), what is the scope? I was planning to do acca/cfa privately, but acca is extremely lengthy and expensive to do without any exemptions.

would like to know honest and real experiences of people who are pursuing regular bcom without specialization in cllg, and where that is getting them in their career? is it really that bad??
