Can I keep my pothos in the same pot indefinitely?
This pothos is approaching 2 years old, and it seems like an absurd amount of plant to be coming out of the pot that it's in. I have never kept a houseplant alive for this long (although you'll find evidence of previous root abuse in my post history, those plants were intended to be temporary). It appears to be as healthy and as vigorous as ever.
It's become so tangled up in its surroundings, I'm not sure if I could re-pot it successfully. Will there come a point where it's no longer able to withstand the non-consensual bondage I've subjected its roots to? Or is it possible for it to continue to thrive indefinitely in the same pot?
