The float doesn't have holes at all. Wasn't filled with fuel.
Was it from temperature? It's destroyed, right? I ordered a replacement. Looks like this is the original float from GDR.
I removed the carb for cleaning on a S51. I noticed that between the carburator and the engine cylinder head there was a thin paper gasket in addition to the black gasket.
Is the black gasket supposed to be "sandwiched" between two paper gaskets?
What material is the black gasket made from? Mine is old and very hard. Is this supposed to be rubber or plastic?
