skinnyfat to skinny

hi, im 5’3 and 119 pounds

i am currently skinnyfat, but i wanna get skinny.

i strength train 3x a week

i eat 120-130g protein

and i do 10k steps

but what confuses me is whether i should be on a calorie deficit or not.

some people say to bulk first and then cut, some say to eat at maintenance, some say to eat in a slight deficit while others say 300-400 deficit.

i want to be skinny overall, not much muscle definition (yes i do know muscle definition takes a long time to achieve for women)

idk what to do, should i be on a calorie deficit? id yes, then how much of a deficit should i be in? (my tdee is 2000 by the way)
