Will a distortion pedal and jomox T-Resonator on the same send have a chance of blowing out one of my speakers?

Currently have an Elektron analog drive and T resonator both fresh out the box, but I’ve heard horror stories of the resonance on the jomox blowing out speakers and I’m sure a distortion wouldn’t help. Would this be safe or should I route differently, thanks!!!!

What is your holy grail synth?

Like one you dream of owning but it’s either so rare or so expensive that it’ll never happen. And yea yea evb wants a Jupiter 8 and cs80, but what’s one that YOU want

Personally, the Alesia andromeda and Waldorf wave are my grails

Hey guys!!!

I really love this sound, not sure exactly how to describe it but they all feel pretty moody with deep subs and atmosphere and very intricate but still groovy drum programming, but it’s getting harder to find more.

I’m very familiar with the other reinforced albums/comps, but feel free to drop them down as I might have missed some. I have a decent general dnb knowledge but I’m much more of a jungle head, so more niche labels will be new to me

Thanks!!!

What do I lose by going from Renoise to redux and ableton?

Hey guys! Currently im sequencing everything in renoise, this includes samples and soft synths and hardware synths. Soft synths and samples aren’t a problem, but hardware synths is as renoise doesn’t natively support live audio capture or tracks. I’ve been capturing them into audacity one at a time and then porting them into renoise but it’s clunky and not the greatest. I’ve been looking into Ableton for a while, but I like the renoise workflow too much. I know redux exists, and I’m wondering how much of renoise I would lose by doing redux+Ableton suite from a normal version of renoise. Thanks!!!

Not breakcore but it’s probably one of the closest sub genres sound wise at least, no idea what flashcores lineage is. Anyways, I’ve heard some bits and pieces about flashcore and it sounds really cool, but it’s very obscure and I’ve found basically no good recommendations. Closest I can think to what I’ve heard that’s considered flashcore is that snares and speedranch split, but even that is just referred to as speedcore most of the time. Sorry if this is unrelated, just have no idea where else to ask lol

Ik that’s nihil fist’s whole thing, and curse of the golden vampires second album as well, but not really much else outside of that. Would love to know more. Thanks! Track is slaughter of darkness by zombieflesheater btw, thought it was a good example of the sound I’m after

Hey guys! Im a producer who does a lot of genres, mostly rap, jungle, power electronics, and loads of different hardcore genres, and I work with mainly samples but I also have many hardware and software synths. Anyways I found this huge treasure trove of old sample packs, and ended up with about 200k samples. What im wondering is if anyone has a software they use to sort, or just any recs for a method of approaching sorting these? Gonna make it somewhat of a summer project to do this, but it’s daunting as FUCK rn. Thanks!!!

Found myself with LOADS of old sample libraries from different old school samplers. Some have the wav files but most have formats like .ebl where I can’t use them currently. I’d love to know if there’s a software that can convert these, preferably in bulk? Thanks so much!!!

Legendary label that I don’t see get a lot of love, birthed the breakcore genre too! Would appreciate any recs, old school or new school, and 2 step dnb stuff works too. Just looking for that raw harsh sound that doesn’t lean into breakcore teritory. Thanks!!!

Wsp yall, ima prod who mostly does stuff like mixing power electronics and breakbeats, or speedcore, or other types of hardcore stuff. They don’t lend themselves as well to traditional rap flows, but with how extreme people are pushing rage and other types of beats I’d love to know how many of yall would actually rap over them

Ik there’s people like percatric who do this(love bro), and the TikTok hardstyle stuff but I don’t really count that ngl.

I do this lots with my MC friends especially at raves, where they’ll freestyle over whatever I’m spinning and it sounds awesome and brings a ton of energy, but in a studio setting with proper vocal effects and crazy shit would be even cooler imo. I’ve done a few demos but nothing worth sharing yet, just want to know if this is sum yall would be interested in starting

Lmk!

Still blows my mind how people will hate on “laptop producers” when this work of art came from just a MacBook and microphone

Crushing and loud but very emotional at the same time, pretty much the only other songs I’ve found sorta like this are product of fear by ramleh and a god sewn into flesh by dreamcrusher. Thank you!!!
