With many many hours in this game, I consistently hear raiders bummed after a Queen or Matriarch kill. When I am feeling particularly friendly, I'll pull a Santa and give what I can.

But the truth is, you've got to be in the thick of it. You can be looting and fighting at the same time. It is all risk/reward. If you're hold up 200-300 meters away from the arc laying down suppressing fire with your exotic weapons, you're spending a lot to knock parts off for others to loot. If you didn't try to loot these big parts before the Arc explodes, you've waited far too long. If you're already in a PvE lobby, you're asking a lot for everyone to spread that loot out.

Nothing complicated. You can walk out of a Matriarch or Queen with a core every time. Play smart, bring heals, and get that loot. Don't want to draw attention? Bring smokes.

Sure you might get crushed by Arc, or ratted on. But that's the game. If you don't risk it and rather sit on your biscuit, you won't be walking out gooped up.
