A friend crafted a birthday present for a fellow friendly Raider!
A fellow Raider mentioned he'd like one of these mugs on his desk, a mutual friend absolutely delivered!

After the recent patch, if you press mouse one any time during a reload your gun will shoot as soon as the reload is over.
Adding input buffering would be nice, but should be triggered after one click. You can’t buffer shots after a roll, for instance.

These sons of bitches are everywhere, hovering between you and your marker. Hovering over extracts. Creeping up mid fights.
THAT IS UNTIL - You specifically kit yourself out to go in and take one out for the quest. Not a single one on the map, and tipping it down terrible view conditions.

I’ll be running around Topside resurrecting the fallen and offering succor to the downtrodden. If your Scrappy needs food I will provide. Peace be with you 🙏

I can excuse a lot of rat behavior as like, "that's just the game, gotta be aware of your surroundings" yada yada. But like, seriously, if you're that hurting for loot you gotta betray someone who went out of their way to help you, kinda pathetic.

I’m thinking divide your XP from the raid by either 100 or 1,000 and it would add that amount to your bankroll. It might not be much but it’s more than XP does for me now 🤷♂️

I realised he was cheating because he knew exactly where i ran although he never saw me hiding ( totally random spot inside a building / behind a corner - underground) .
I'm 53 and I've gamed for many years. I started out on Socom if that tells you anything. I used to be the guy in my clan that everyone wanted on their side because I was that good. COD came out and I became a master at quick scoping. I didn't game for about 10 years when my kids were growing up. They're all out of the house now so about 2 years ago I bought a PS5. I was doing COD and BF but those games had changed so much it just didn't feel the same. My nephew convinced to me try Arc Raiders and this game is the game I've searched for my entire life. I love the solo aspect of it and the chat interactions. It is truly amazing.
My issue is that I absolutely SUCK at PvP aspect of this game. I use two accounts one PvE and the other PvP. My only way to PvP is to basically sneak attack and get the first shot and I still die many times lol. I don't do the fake friendly back stab stuff and I don't camp extractions but I will lay in wait in hot areas of the maps.
Do other old school gamers have this issue? Are my reflexes and eye sight just bad now?
Hopefully this gives hope to someone,my advice would be to wait it out and camp by an extraction because they usually fall right by one.

Hello! Several people requested a video for how I solo+1'd a the Matriarch yesterday, so I gave it another shot in a mildly sketchy lobby. Definitely got more help this time from the strangers in terms of damage, and got one defib, but I'd wager I did around 90% of the damage this time instead of 99%
It is absolutely possible to solo the matriarch with the jump crouch strat, 20 energy clips, and a couple deadlines. The Rocketeer spooked me so I planted two deadlines and crossed my fingers that it was enough, but it twas not :( Got her with one last deadline for style points
I tried running it back immediately after, but as you can see, luck is pretty important (and remembering to sprint roll out of the way of hornet shocks). Eff you matriarch snipers!
It's safe to say the MK III survivor reigms supreme in every single way and completely shits on any other augment - high carry capacity, extra space for valuables, three safepockets and being able to run a medium shield - I and many other people run it almost every single raid. How do you think Embark will balance things in the future?
this feels like the third time i've died because i was pulling out a heal or a shield recharge or smoke to use it immediately while being blasted by something (bastion, firefly, pop/pop/fireball combo, a raider mag dumping me from 10m) and it just doesn't do the thing.
i know it's a bug (i'd call it a regression tbh), and as someone who does software development, i'm guessing it's probably triaged pretty low, but damn if it ain't annoying having to unlearn 6 months of muscle memory about "i can use quick-use items quickly" into "i can use quick-use items after a delay." i imagine it's even worse for streamers or youtubers who do this for like 6+ hours a day.

What are they actually thinking? https://metaforge.app/arc-raiders/event-timers
Bird city is a main trial this week, weekend is prime time for literally anybody that has a job or a family, and here we are on a sunday evening, bird city event isn't on for another 10 hours.
Seriously, Embark, put the crack pipe down and sort this basic shit out.
Actually had a lot of fun putting this together!
If you were on Spaceport earlier this evening during a rainy assessor event, you might be in this video! Special shoutout to the dude that snaphooked onto a Vaporizer and rode it like a bull.
