What's a good healing output in WvW?

The TL;DR is that my WvW healing build has a healing output of about 4k/s to 5 targets. It's tanky, does some damage, and heals a lot but does literally nothing else except some uncommon low-power condition removal. No boons or anything fancy. I'm curious how impactful it is.

What's with SAB's weapon hitboxes?

My introduction to SAB was killing a Queen Bee Dog and dying as I did because three consecutive hits just phased right through them. I was straight up running in place into them to land at least one. All the stuff they dropped just disappeared, and obviously this soured me on the event completely.

Anyone else tired of modern MMOs with instant death mechanics?

I've been playing GW2 recently and, uh, yeah. Same with WoW, modern raids and dungeon content are essentially "do this obscure thing or die instantly" in a way that often completely bypasses mechanics that give people freedom, ie. dodging or downed and it's just a boring-ass game of Simon Says.

One of the most common responses I've seen justifying them is that players are just so powerful that the only way to balance encounters is to give them an instant fail state, which is a bit like saying the only way to drive a car is off a cliff and to use it as a submarine.

It's boring, and it makes me not want to participate.

Crushing Abyss weapon swapping (for Revenant)

I might be missing something but, isn't it less ideal to swap weapons to trigger the final proc of Crushing Abyss? The stacks last 10s, the cooldown is 10s, and to fix this you'd have to get a Relic of the Warrior which means you're giving up a lot of potential power to maintain Crushing Abyss semi-permanently. If you stick with the Spear, however, every skill reduces the recharge of Crushing Abyss and you can perpetually stay at a full 3 stacks to double Abyssal Raze's damage and fire it off on average once every 5 seconds.

Are Revenants OP?

For some reason, unlike GW1, the most common response when I asked last was courtesy of PvPers telling me to 'git gud' or whatever. So here's the clarification: I only play Revenant, and do not care one iota about PvP for reasons people've so helpfully shown.

So my question is this: are Revenants OP? With very few exceptions (ie. Daredevil Thief) it's incredibly easy to solo Champion bosses on Revenant without even putting much effort in. You're far from being immobile for a class wearing heavy armor and in fact you're probably one of the fastest classes in the game, you have a decently chunky health pool that's further enhanced by Herald and can be improved further and further by Battle Scars or the incredible number of buffs you're applying to yourself constantly, you're an absolute monster at team support able to apply effectively permanent Stability/Quickness(!)/Protection/Fury to everyone around you on top of your monster healing/barrier capability, and your damage output is no slouch by any means especially if you build for it. Outside of being somewhat skill-gated like the Dervish in GW1 (another class I play exclusively and love to death) they just feel so absurdly strong compared to every other class I've played. Oh, and for the lore nerds, the dialogue with the various Legends would be icing on the cake.

Opinions welcome, but again, I do not give a shit about PvP and am not talking about PvP.
