I have a pretty decent gaming desktop PC and an aluminium 4080 profile simulator rig that I would like to take with me to India if possible. Curious if anyone on here has considered doing the same or has done it in the past.
With high prices for PC components is there a safe way to dismantle and package only the key components in carry-on. Motherboard, cpu, gpu. Buy a new case, cooling fans, power supply in India.
Will there be customs and duties for something like that?
Alternatively I have considered selling my pc here and maybe swap for a high powered laptop which will not be as good as desktop. Or just buy /build new pc in India.
Anyone with similar experience?
