How long before it felt better?

Any details are welcome! I’m particularly looking for stories of people who felt worse before it got better (it first felt good for me, now it feels worse, my doctor told me it’s probably the right meds if I reacted well at first and to be patient but I’m looking for hope/successful stories as I’m having a painful experience right now!)

Context: autism level 1, I take Brintellix for generalized anxiety, c-ptsd and severe OCD. My main concern is OCD.

More context: I'm a slow metabolizer, and very very very sensitive to psych meds. I've started with 1.25mg, and upped the dosage every 2 weeks by 1.25mg. (I know that sounds super low, but for real I'm very sensitive, and it was confirmed by my psychiatrist that it's not placebo.) I'm now 2 months in, at 5mg.

At first this meds worked wonders for me, better sleep, no anxiety anymore, OCD was also way better. On the side, I had physical negative side effects, which were fading away with time, coming back when upping the dosage, going away again with time, so this wasn't a concern.
Then the positive effects started to slowly fades away, to the point I became worse than before. I'm talking spending the entire day doing OCD rituals and not being able to do anything else, while I usually know how to handle my OCD crisis. Also having my body hurting because of how tensed I was with anxiety.
I would say now I'm a bit more back on track, but that would be very comforting for me to know how long I'm supposed to brace myself.

So, if you were in this case (it worked well, then you felt worse / or / you felt worse at first when taking this meds), how did it take you to feel better?

Thank you!
