Bought Ys Origin on steam and PS4 years ago but only dabbled in the game for a few min.
Just bought it on my Switch 2 for portability a day ago and loving it! This game is really good. I actually love Hugo’s personality. He’s got a decent balance of arrogance, intelligence, wit, and empathy.
His eyes of Fact are 🔥. One of my top weapons for a game character.
Wow. I spent $119 (after shipping) on retro gaming cables’ component cables, and $11 on RetroBit’s S-Video cable for my Dreamcast.
I’m honestly liking the color accuracy and fidelity better with the S-Video output (shown).
At least for my Sharp CRTV, there’s no leap in quality between Component and S-Video. And in all the games I have so far, the S-Video looks even better. There’s definitely a jump between composite and S-Video.
I’m using a G/E S-Video splitter which, according to most reviews on Amazon, has actually been known to enhance the picture of S-Video outputs on many TVs. I can vouch. I had my SNES, Saturn, and Dreamcast plugged in straight to the tv (one at a time) to test. And yes, the G/E splitter does slightly boost the fidelity.
I was luckily enough to find a brand new G/E S-Video gold plated cable on eBay to go from the splitter to the tv.
