Looking for Documentation/Guide on fine tuning movement in platformer
As the title says I'm on the hunt for something to help me fine tune the movement in my platformer game. My ideal at least for now is to have the character move at max velocity with little to no noticeable acceleration and be able to stop on a dime, but I am having trouble achieving that.
Something else would be a chart one what settings to do for pre-existing games as a starting point of how I want my platformer to feel (for example I want something similar to megaman, here are some settings to get you started.)
