Chances of being kept on after 3 sick days in 3 months?

I'm a chronically ill girly trying to succeed in the corporate world right now! Halfway through my current internship, my direct supervisors scheduled a meeting with me to let me know I had a strong chance of being kept on because of how impressed they are with the work I'm doing.

But I'm paranoid now that I'm at 3 sick days in 11 weeks that I've possibly killed that chance. It's one in person day per week and the rest is WFH. I've unfortunately managed to be too unwell to attend 3 of those in person days, but still able to work from home, so no productivity was lost (hopefully, at least that's what I've been told!)

Are there any professionals out there who can tell me what my chances are now? I knew going in this would be a risk due to my health, so I'm prepared for this to end and never hear back from them.

Libido still gone 3 years post partum

I thought it was just a phase and I'd be back to normal after 6 months. But the idea of sex completely disinterests me now. And I used to have a VERY HIGH libido pre-pregnancy and even leading up to just days before giving birth.

My husband is understandably devastated. We went from having sex 2-3 times a week to now maybe 2-3 times a year. I've tried booking in times to have intimacy. But when the moment comes and I try to push myself into enjoying it I just can't do it, or I try but get so overwhelmed we have to stop like 10 minutes in.

3 years isn't normal right? My husband thinks I need to get my IUD removed because that might be causing it. But what if I'm just permanently asexual? I feel so guilty and ashamed. If anyone has experienced something similar and has advice, I'd love to hear it.

I feel so guilty for even asking because I've had her since she was 6-8 weeks. Like I should know her better than anyone and just be able to 'tell' right? But aging is a funny thing I guess.

Anyway I know it's normal for them to slow down at this age, and she definitely has. But there are so many other aging signs that show up, I don't know what to put in the normal or abnormal category.

A few examples include:

  1. Some small, coin size matting in her fur here and there. Only in hard to reach places and not too hard to brush out again

  2. Generally a little stinkier than she was in her glory days

  3. Drinks slightly more water than she used to, but eats slightly less food than she used to at the same time

  4. Sleeping more often

  5. Lost a bit of weight. Definitely not underweight, but anyone who knew her or grew up with her would say she looks obviously much smaller

  6. More sneezy and drooly and eye gunky than previously. Not a daily occurrence but enough to notice

  7. Will vom like once every 2-3 days and then go about her business like nothing's wrong? She's always been a slightly pukier cat than most due to allergies, but it's kind of increased in frequency over the last 3 years

  8. More vocal than ever before. Not from pain I think, but she loves to have a big old angry yowl when she's sitting on you and you move slightly. Maybe her joints are achy? idk

I know I should just go to the vet. But last time I took her thinking she was on her death bed (0 colour in her nose, gums and paws) it turned out there was nothing wrong with her. Spent $1k+ in tests just to be told that she's completely healthy, and that old cats just be having reduced circulation sometimes :( Still financially recovering from that.

Any insight/experience/advice would be very appreciated! Recent pic of the grumpy old broad included for reference.

I feel bad for even asking because my geriatric baby girl is 14.5 and I've had her since she was 6-8 weeks. Like I should know her better than anyone and just be able to 'tell' right? But aging is a funny thing I guess.

I'm currently enrolled in a unit under the SEBE umbrella (won't name for obvious reasons) that is so disorganised it's driving me insane. Assessment rules and criteria are constantly changing. Important features are missing, such as rubrics in assessment descriptions, links to important external resources, incomplete assignment instructions, and so on.

Not to mention on top of that, the unit chair and others running the unit use the most vague, poorly structured language - written AND verbal - when laying out important information on assessment tasks, due dates, and responses to our very confused questions. Due dates for assignments have had to be moved multiple times because of phrases like "complete by end of week 9" when they actually meant Wednesday week 9 at 8pm.

They even changed the dropboxes for an assignment without telling us and then marked everyone who submitted to the original dropbox as a late submission!

I tolerated it at the start, but it's now getting to the point where I'm emailing/posting discussion threads multiple times a week asking for clarification or special consideration after missing a last minute rule change.

I'm at my wits end. Should this be addressed with the chair directly, or is there a way I can go above them and complain to someone else? If anyone has had to do this before, how was your experience? I'm desperate for advice!

I had an assessment recently where I gave an oral presentation/interview.

But I had to submit a self reflection in Feedback Fruits to receive the grading for the oral.

Long story short I thought I filled out the Feedback Fruits but apparently I didn't hit submit. Does anyone know if that sort of thing results in a 0 mark for the whole Assessment - or just not being able to view my marks for the oral?

I'm so bummed out because I spent a lot of time prepping for this! I have an access plant with Disability Support, so I don't know if I have any recourse there. Any insight appreciated

Apparently nowhere offers Jazz Karaoke in Melbourne except here. It sounds like fun, and tickets are cheap!

Does anyone have any reviews on their experience there? Are you expected to be a good singer to be able to work with the band? I'd love to go but I am by *no means* (like absolutely 0 means) a talented singer, I just love belting out a good jazz tune 😅😅
