People think I’m manic when I’m not

I’m just in a good mood and talking a lot but normally lol. Mom is like, “you were definitely a little manic the last few days.” They got too use to seeing me depressed they just forgot what my baseline is.

Y’all have this problem?

Question on sleep during hypomania/mania

As opposed to sleep deprivation, do you y’all instead find yourselves waking up a million times in the middle of the night while getting 7-9 hours of sleep? This has been happening to me recently but I doubt I’m hypomanic. It’s just annoying. Not just annoying, it’s starting to piss me off

How was y’all’s appetite during episodes?

I didn’t eat anything for 3 months and went from 165 to 145 pounds in that depressive episode, but I’ve also heard people eating a lot. Just curious how it is for you guys.

What about appetite during mania or hypomania?

Dreams that ruin your day?

This one’s random, but do yall get vivid lamictal dreams that are typically not good and they just ruin your entire day? Especially when it relates to real world stuff or trauma. Just a total day ruiner.

You guys get anxiety?

I’m talking with episodes and without episodes, or only certain episodes? Does it just come with the illness?

Couple days of depression then back to stable?

Does this happen to you guys? I’ll have a few days of just not eating, crying a lot, anhedonia, absolute misery, but switch back to stability or basic sadness which lasts couple weeks until I get smacked again with those bad days.

Taking Lamotrigine. Should I probably up the dose? I know yall can’t give med advice, but was curious if you’d guys bring it up to the psych.
