Winnebago County farmers and nearby- how is planting season going?

In my travels I see some plowed fields, some planting and spraying. But a lot of corn stubble acreage still out there. I know that nitrogen-fixing soybeans would likely go into those fields this year…. Is there an issue? Fields too wet? The market uncertainty? Thanks.

One of our dogs ate my wife’s lower denture.

Yeah, the princess who’s cute and always wants belly rubs.

No she did not grab it while it was in my lovely bride’s mouth, don’t be silly.

Suggestions for a place to get a new one? She only had it a few months and it was nothing but trouble anyway IMO. $3k for a lower plate? Yikes I think that was too much for a piece of decorative plastic.

I stopped wearing my plates many years ago. I think all dentures suck, even if held in place by a couple of implants. I’d rather gum my food and speak wiff a mumble. But I’m not my wife.

Curran’s Orchard opposes proposed solar farm next door

I like Curran’s, but methinks maybe this is more about “rural ideology” and politics. I hope I’m wrong.
