My living room got a lot of help here so I’m hoping yall will have good ideas for the kitchen too. First photos are kitchen, second set of photos is the living room. I want bold fun colors but it needs to be cohesive with the living room. Also layout ideas for a small breakfast area that still allows access to the backyard sliding door would be great.

The dog bed is going to move somewhere else, and his food bowl has to be on the carpet or he won’t eat (my dog is weird). You can check my recent posts to see changes I’ve made if you want

We have already tried having the couch face the tv, it doesn’t fit like that and makes our path to the kitchen extremely awkward, but maybe I did it wrong so I am open to all ideas. Excuse the mess from my crafting, but I added a photo showing the entry to the kitchen and why the couch facing the tv feels wrong.
