Works in progress, inspired by Cornwall

Just some stuff I’m working on, I’m a new painter and am trying to find my way. It appears sometimes, but then vanishes! It’s perhaps this way for all artists? Either way, I think I’m progressing slightly closer to the images in my head. Wishy washy fragments that they are! 😊 Thanks for looking. 👀

Serene Reflection

This serene painting captures a quiet East Texas landscape, featuring dense, dark green trees parted to reveal a hazy sky. A soft light breaks across the water's surface, creating a beautiful, shimmering reflection that mirrors the calm atmosphere of a secluded pool.

Any help/critique is appreciated. No area in this painting is finished yet, but most sections have two layers now.
