What was the first CD you ever bought?

I just saw a photo of the back cover of the back cover of the Nirvana's Bleach CD uploaded by u/FitEmergency8807

When I was 14, my first CD purchase was Bleach. I bought it myself after saving for a few weeks. Seeing it again after thirty years… it’s amazing how one snapshot can bring back an entire year of adolescent life.

It made me think: with your own money, what was the first CD you ever bought?
Or the first one you can remember owning?

Seeking a simple sketch for a personal project

Hello everyone!

I am currently writing a book about burnout and volunteering in Ukraine. It is self-published and based on my experience.

I am not really an author, just trying something for myself right now, but still would like very much to have someone illustrate some parts of my book for me. I can imagine it might be quite fun and interesting to draw a few pictures for someone else.

Specifically, there is a passage titled “Batman’s Dilemma” when I think about a famous quote:

“It’s not who you are underneath, it’s what you do that defines you”

which eventually makes me quit my job and go overseas to volunteer.

Thank you very much in advance!
