Where do you develop film in Melbourne?
I’ve been shooting film around Melbourne for a while and kept running into the same issue — finding reliable labs that actually give consistent scans.
I’ve tried or looked into a few places so far:
Irohas Photo Lab – fast turnaround, consistent scans, good for both C41 and B&W
Halide Express – quick and affordable, good if you need something same/next day
FilmNeverDie – more of a community hub, also offers processing and workshops
Kindred Cameras – more on the creative/art side, but still useful depending on what you need
From what I’ve seen, the main differences come down to:
turnaround time (same-day vs slower but more careful scans)
scan quality / color consistency
whether you want a “lab” vs more of a creative space
