Senior year schedule dilemma after APs were cut — rigor vs. DE + law internship?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice on my senior-year schedule and how admissions officers might view it.

My school is finalizing senior schedules this week, and I ran into a major change. I originally planned to take:

  • AP Literature
  • AP Psychology
  • AP Environmental Science
  • DE Calculus (.5 credit)
  • Biomedical Innovations (PLTW)
  • Senior Seminar (mandatory)
  • MAST Crew

But my school just announced they are dropping AP Psych and AP Enviro, reducing the total number of APs offered from 12 to 10. That leaves the only APs I haven’t taken as:

  • AP Literature
  • AP World History
  • AP Computer Science Principles
  • AP Computer Science A

Some background/context:

  • I started the PLTW Biomedical Science career pathway freshman year (career pathways are required at my school for an advanced diploma).
  • After sophomore year, through working with my state’s student voice team, I realized I want to pursue pre-law rather than pre-med.
  • My junior schedule was already finalized, so I still had to take the third biomed course.
  • Senior Seminar is required for graduation.

Now I’m deciding what makes the most sense for senior year.

Originally, my main options were:

  1. Finish Biomedical Innovations just to complete the biomed pathway, even though it’s unrelated to my intended major
  2. Take AP Computer Science (CSP or CSA) purely to “stack” APs, despite it being unrelated to pre-law
  3. Drop biomed and take AP Lit, AP World, DE Calc (.5), Senior Seminar (.5), MAST, and two periods of Work Ready to intern with the most prominent defense attorney in my town

My concern with option #3 was that two periods of Work Ready might look like I’m not taking max rigor, even though the internship is directly aligned with my interests.

Update / New Option:
My mom is now willing to pay for additional dual enrollment courses, which opens up another possibility that still fits within my school’s 6‑period day.

I’m now considering the following schedule:

  • AP Literature (full year)
  • AP World History (full year)
  • DE Calculus (1 semester)
  • DE PSY 110 (1 semester)
  • DE COM 180 (1 semester)
  • Senior Seminar (1 semester, required)
  • MAST Crew (full year)
  • Work Ready for one period, interning at a law firm

This would allow me to:

  • Cover the core 4 at the highest level available
  • Take multiple college-level humanities/social science courses aligned with pre-law
  • Still gain real-world legal experience through an internship, without overloading on Work Ready

I was accepted as a QuestBridge CPS and plan to apply through NCM, so I’d be able to explain my internship choice in the Additional Info section if needed. My school’s AP offerings were also reduced unexpectedly, which I know AOs consider in context.

My main question is:
Would this DE‑heavy + AP + internship schedule still be viewed as maximum rigor for my school, or would AOs strongly prefer replacing the internship or DE classes with an unrelated AP like CS?

Any advice would be really appreciated. I’m trying to balance rigor, relevance, and authenticity without hurting my application.

Edit to add: For context, I’ve already taken AP Human Geography, AP Government, APUSH, AP Lang, AP Biology, and AP Precalculus, so AP Lit and AP World would complete my remaining core AP opportunities at my school outside of CSP CSA.

Has anyone gotten their score back today?

I see the ACT site says today and it typically comes out around 9, so I’m wondering if anyone has theirs yet. I haven’t gotten mine.
