What I learned about IG that helped me gain subs (repost with value add)

Background/Timeline: started in December 0 fans/ 0 social media following

joined Reddit, found some subs traction enough to start an IG, maybe 300 people followed me there

first 30 days: stuck, low views, 200 views per video, constant flags

60 days: created better content (for my niche), steal like an artist strategy--better views, growing account
*deleted reddit, low quality subs for my niche, time wasters, hagglers and too time consuming* (personal choice)

90 days: more traction, content streamlined, subs coming in at 20 per day

present: averaging 500 paid subs a month, views at 4.4million last 30 days, some viral videos but all content getting 20k-30k views minimum

Follower count: 54k on IG // monthly: $21k

1. Sales start at your bio, optimize. clean profile pic.

Stop writing bios that describe what you do. Write a bio that answers one question: why should a stranger follow me right now?

Bad: "xyz niche | Link below"

Better: "pro yapper | what ur looking for 👇"

Your bio has one job...get them to click the link.

right now LinkMe in the bio as a direct link is causing issues, use your highlights for this.

NEVER link OF page directly.

2. FIRST 3 seconds

Instagram decides in the first 3 seconds whether to push your reel or bury it. Start in the middle of something. Movement, a reaction, a visual that makes someone ask what is this? Test this: watch your last 5 reels with the sound off. If they're boring without audio they're boring period.

3. Non-follower reach is the only metric that matters early on

Likes from your existing followers mean nothing for growth. What you want is reach percentage from non-followers. TRIAL REELS are a must!

make content for people who have never heard of you. Not inside jokes. Not references your current fans understand.

4. Post volume beats post perfection

The algorithm rewards consistency and punishes gaps. If you are not giving the algo data it will hate you. thats it.

you NEED THREE REELS PER DAY minimum or don't bother.

Volume is how you find what works.

5. Your link click is a conversion page, track metrics!

One link, (CTA in a highlight is safest right now). on your link account, no other account or BS should be there. only your clean content page.

6. VIEWS AREN'T EVERYTHING

A reel can get 500K views and bring you zero subscribers. Another gets 10K views and brings you 50 paying fans.

anyway hope this helps more than my random 4am post the other day. If you want more deets, just lmk my DMs are open, just dont be a weirdo. k bye.

did I find an IG hack or no?

(excuse AuDhd ramblings)

I started OF in December with zero followers and using IG.

Was able to grow over 50k on Instagram organically tried Reddit reached 100k karma and deleted it after a few months used a VA to post and it sucked.

Anyway, last month made $21k (net) and this month I’m on track to do $32k (net) if sales hold up.

Idk am I being a little delulu here to think I found a way to do IG right? Has anyone found anything that gets similar?

Have heard that girl Emm@ Midwest does crazy numbers from IG
