is it just me or does spending $85 for the silverquill precon seem stupid

The purpose of a precon is to attract new players, it's counterproductive for stores/distributors to price beginners out. The value is also unimpressive, your paying more for land tax, animate dead, and 3 lousy duel lands. Not a fan of land tax, think the card sucks. I havn't played it since commander became a format due to its low game impact. The lands get under my skin bc they also account for part of the 10 exclusive cards. I also find a lot of politics cards to be clunky.

$49 upgrade for quintorious list

For the upcomming strixhaven release I took a lot of interest in quintorious. Its a reanimotor combo list that has 3 options of generating infinit tokens. gerrard+loyal retainers+sac outlet, sun titan+glorious renewal+sac outlet, and reveilark+karmic guide+sac outlet. Its a bracket 2 list, so i thought it would be somewhat fair to have no tutors. To be consistent it has a significant amount of draw power. The price of the deck at the bottom of the list link is a little deceptive. If you buy it sealed, its $44. the cards I kept has a value of $85, so it skews decks total pricetag. My upgrades only cost $49 keeping the list under $100.
